Weddings are honestly just a pretty awesome thing to be part of. You’ve got all your favourite people together, a tonne of emotion, a few nerves, plenty of laughs, and moments you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

My approach has always been about capturing all of that naturally. Nothing too stiff or overposed. Mostly, it’s about real moments, good energy, and photos that actually feel like you, while still creating a few beautiful images you’ll want hanging on your wall.

More recently, I’ve teamed up with my wonderful fiancée, Sisi, an incredibly talented photographer and videographer, which honestly feels like we’ve doubled the creativity and coverage we can bring to a wedding day. Together, we’re able to capture moments from multiple perspectives while keeping things relaxed and natural.

All wedding photography packages now include two photographers at no extra cost, which means more moments captured, more angles, and more coverage throughout the day. If Sisi is filming video coverage for your wedding, I’ll still be leading the photography side while we work seamlessly together across both photo and film.

Over the years, photography has taken me all across New Zealand, shooting weddings, landscapes, and astrophotography. Spending so much time photographing epic locations and chasing good light has definitely shaped the way I shoot weddings too. I love placing people within beautiful scenes and creating images that feel connected to the environment around them.

What started with buying a camera over a decade ago slowly turned from a hobby into a full-time career. Along the way, my landscape and astrophotography work built a following of hundreds of thousands online and led to collaborations with brands, tourism companies, and publications both here in New Zealand and overseas.

At the end of the day, we just want to create photos that genuinely feel like your day and your personalities.
